As of March 8, 2021, all departures from the territory of England are required to fill out a declaration regarding
the purpose of travel.
Legally permitted reasons for international travel include:
- work
- education
- volunteering;
- medical reasons or the so-called compassionate grounds (actions expressing concern or concern for others);
- weddings, funerals and related events.
