Bulgarian citizens traveling to Austria can enter the country with a rapid antigen test done within 48 hours,
and not as before - within 72 hours before the trip.
The new requirement takes effect on March 11, 2021.
The current option for those entering Austria with a PCR test document is retained, and in this case, as before,
the test must be done no later than 72 hours before the trip.
If citizens traveling to Austria do not have a coronavirus test document, they are required to have a test within 24 hours
of entering the country.
We remind you that all citizens coming from risk regions, including Bulgaria, must register within 72 hours before
entering Austria at the following link:
https://www.ris.bka.gv.at/Dokumente/BgblAuth/BGBLA_2021_II_68/COO_2026_100_2_1833846.html.
Travelers must declare that they will be in 10-day quarantine, with the possibility of reduction after a second test
(PCR or antigen) after the 5th day of entry. The day of arrival in Austria is counted as day "0".
