British authorities liberalize restrictive measures in international trips to the country

14.02.2022
From 04:00 on the 11th February 2022, the persons travelling to the United Kingdom from the Republic of Bulgaria (as well as from all the red list countries) which are completely vaccinated for at least 14 days will have to:

• Complete the localization form for passengers within 48 hours before their arrival. (Children under 18, may be included in the accompanying form);

Would no longer need to:
• take a test prior to departure to the United Kingdom;
• book and pay a Day 2 PCR test after arriving in England;
• Cararanted at home or other place after their arrival.

Passengers have to prove that they are completely vaccinated (+ 14 days) with a document (digital or paper) issued by a public health authority. As regards persons traveling to the United Kingdom from non-red list (including from the Republic of Bulgaria), which are not completely vaccinated, before travelling to the United Kingdom they will have to:

• Make a COVID-19 test within 2 days before their trip (antigen, PCR or LAMP);
• Reserve and pay a Day 2 PCR test to be made after their arrival;
• Complete the goal of passengers within 48 hours before their arrival in the United Kingdom.

The new February 11 for this category of citizens is that after arriving in England you do not have to quarantine unless the result of the PCR test held to or on the 2nd day is positive. This means that in the negative test result, which is made after the arrival on the territory of the United Kingdom, the persons will not be subject to 10-day quarantine, as was the regime so far.
