The Romanian authorities have introduced some reliefs to the requirements for completing an electronic entry form to Romania (PLF) for the entry or passing through the territory of the country:
Extends the filling date - within up to 72 hours before entering Romania (instead of 24 hours, as before). The possibility is maintained, exceptionally, PLF is completed and up to 24 hours after entry;
Exceptions are introduced from the PLF replenishment requirement for each trip for certain categories of persons.
They are required once to complete the PLF form (at first entry into Romania), with the completion to mark an exception check mark ("Personal Exceptat"). In subsequent trips in the same quality, it is not necessary to fill in PLF again.
The above applies to:
Pilots of airplanes and flight crew as well as locomotive mechanics and rail staff;
Load drivers with a maximum permitted capacity over 2,4 tonnes carrying goods as well as drivers of vehicles having more than 9 seats, including the driver's place of passengers;
Marine and river navigation staff as well as staff serving sea platforms;
Navigation staff on board ships and helicopters and staff serving the sea platforms located in the exclusive economic zone of Romania who do not travel in the territory of another country;
Police officers who are involved in Romania's leading missions to persons pursued abroad or transferred to continue the expulsion of imprisonment;
Medical staff involved in the implementation of missions for the transport of patients from and to healthcare facilities outside the territory of Romania;
Persons who, in order to travel to the place of work, cross the state border at least once every 24 hours.
The minimum amount of the fine is reduced for non-compliance with the requirement for completed PLF - from 2000 at 500 Romanian lei (about 100 euros).
