Greece canceled from today, 19.04.2021, 7 day quarantine when entering the country for citizens of the Member States of the European Union and the Schengen area of the United Kingdom, the United States of America, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia and of Israel.
At the same time until April 26th. There is the requirement to present a negative PCR test result not earlier than 72 hours from the entry into Greece and a new possibility of presenting a CVID-19 vaccination certificate is introduced. Upon entering the country, the Greek authorities randomly make a quick or PCR test. The requirement for completed PLF and the presence of a QR code is left.
The vaccination certificate should be in English, be issued by a public authority in accordance with the relevant national legislation. When entering Greece, 14 days should have elapsed since the completion of the vaccination. The vaccination certificate includes the name of the person and type and number of vaccine doses.
With the same decision of the Government of Greece, from today, 19.04.2021, the Maka-Nymphea border checkpoint is opened at the time interval from 07:00 until 23:00 for passengers remains open and the Kulata border checkpoint -Promachon. The remaining points only serve heavy-duty traffic and Ivaylovgrad-Cyprino border checkpoint is closed.
