Mandatory quarantine for all entering Slovakia

From 06:00 on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, all passengers arriving in the Slovak Republic must undergo 
a 14-day quarantine at home or in a special government facility. At the earliest on the eighth day of entry,
 travelers can take an RT-PCR test, and if the result is negative, the quarantine is terminated. 
Children under the age of 10 are subject to testing only at the discretion of the GP, 
and their isolation ends at the same time as that of the other members of the general household.
All persons entering Slovakia are required to register when entering by land at http://korona.gov.sk/ehranica, 
at the latest upon entry into the territory of the Slovak Republic, and upon arrival by air to fill in an electronic form 
at https://www.mindop.sk/covid/.

The following categories are not subject to quarantine and are obliged to present a negative result of an antigen 
or RT-PCR test not older than 7 days each time they enter Slovakia:

- Border workers working in neighboring countries, students, carers, cultivating land in a neighboring country, 
working in the cultural sector, in the media, etc .;
- Employees of diplomatic missions and international organizations enjoying diplomatic immunity;

- A certain circle of athletes who are in the training process or participate in professional competitions and have a 
relevant opinion from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Slovak Republic.
