Since 1 August 2021, Germany will already distinguish between "high risk areas" and "viral variations".
For "high-risk areas", regions and countries will be considered in which the 7-day frequency of new-infected people per 100,000 is "significantly greater than 100", and other factors will be taken into account, such as the low Number of tests and the large number of hospitalizations.
The new rules for entry into Germany will be in force until 30.09.2021.
Since 01.08.2021, all arriving in Germany is that persons who have reached 12 years old must carry a negative crown virus test, a healing or certificate test of complete vaccination.
Upon presentation of a PCR test, the sample must be taken no later than 72 hours before the arrival and the antigen test - no later than 48 hours before the arrival in Germany. Upon arrival from a viral variation area, the antigen test must be made at most 24 hours before arrival in Germany. Antibody tests are not recognized.
