As of 15.02.2022, the sanitary measures when travelling to France depend on the country travelling from. As of 15 February 2022 there are no countries to fall into the "red" or "dark red zone".
The current classification of the parties is as follows:
"Green area" - countries or territories in which the virus circulates poorly or is mastered and there are no variants that are alarming. These are the countries of the European space - the EU Member States / including Bulgaria /, Andorra, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Norway, San Marino, Switzerland and the Vatican. To them are added Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Honduras, Hong-Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Kuwait, New Zealand, Qatar, Rwanda, Senegal, Taiwan and Vanuatu.
"Orange zone" - countries or territories in which active circulation of the virus is observed, but there is no variants that are worried. These are all other countries that do not fall into a green area. Currently, with regard to France, the UK falls into an "orange area".
For a trip to the French overseas territories, specific rules apply.
Travel workers are still in force as described so far.
Travel to France from Green Zone countries, including Bulgaria:
- for passengers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations - no other documents are required except proof of a completed vaccination scheme *.
* The vaccination scheme is considered to be completed:
- 28 days after placing the one-dose vaccine Jansen;
- 7 days after placing the second dose for other vaccines recognized by the European Medicines Agency - Pfizer / Comirnaty, Moderna, Astrazeneca / Vaxzevria / Covishield;
- for the persons who received all the necessary doses of a vaccine recognized by the World Health Organization, but the European Agency for Medicines - 7 days after placing a supplementary dose of ARNM vaccine recognized by the European Medicines Agency.
* Since 1 February 2022, persons aged over 18 who wish to enter France must have received an additional dose of ARNM vaccine at the latest 9 months after their last dose.
- Unvaccinated passengers should submit:
Negative result from a PCR test made in the last 72 hours before the trip
or
Negative antigen test made in the last 48 hours before traveling
or
Certificate of Reconstruction after a Covid-19 disease passed, valid before at least 11 days and before no more than 6 months.
Persons up to 12 years of age are exempt from the above requirements.
Travel to France from Orange Zone countries, including Britain to France:
- Passengers vaccinated within the meaning of European regulations must submit:
Proof of a completed vaccination scheme / according to the above rules (s)
Personal declaration of lack of symptoms of the Covid-19 disease and the lack of contact with a detected case of Kovid-19.
- Passengers not vaccinated must submit:
a negative result from a PCR test made in the last 72 hours before travelling
or
Negative antigen test made in the last 48 hours before traveling;
Personal Declaration on the absence of symptoms of the Covid-19 disease and the lack of contact with an established case of Kovid-19 as well as a commitment to undergo a test on arrival;
When arriving may eventually be invited to test. If the test is positive, the passenger should be isolated according to the prescriptions of the French health bodies;
Unvaccinated passengers should demonstrate the existence of an overriding reason for travel in France - such is, for example, transit through France to EU citizens who are transit in transit to reach the country in which they are habitually residing. Persons up to 12 years of age are exempt from the above requirements.
A trip from France to countries from Orange Zone, including France to the UK:
- for passengers who have been vaccinated, there are no restrictions for travel to orange zone;
- Unvaccinated passengers should prove the existence of an imperative cause of travel to a "orange zone" country.
