About us
The tourist transport company Union Ivkoni is the biggest bus carrier in the country, a leader in the bus transport sphere in Bulgaria and Europe. It is a member of the National Association of Bus Transport in Bulgaria (NABTB) and of IPRU.
We established our activity in 1992 and each day we travel to more than 100 towns in Bulgaria and to more than 150 towns in Central and Western Europe, Greece and Turkey.
We take care of our buses in our own depot, which is situated in two terrains and which includes service premises. In order to provide comfort to our clients and to satisfy them, we have provided around 70 offices across in Bulgaria, about 700 qualified employees and more than 50 offices of partners’ network abroad.
We value our clients and that is why we develop loyal programs in order to fulfil their expectations:
- Client cards with progressive discount – each travel provides an opportunity for a higher percentage of discount;
- Prepaid client cards – a client card that provides a permanent discount of 50% for a period chosen by the client – 3, 6 or 12 months.
Since our establishment, we are developing an additional activity – we provide rental buses: Mini bus, Midi bus, Bus, Multi-seat bus in three different age categories according to date of production.
In 2006, we created our own tourist trade mark – Uni Holidays, which we licensed as an IATA-agency later. It offers a huge variety of holidays, excursions, vacations in the country and abroad, as well as plane tickets to all destinations of the airlines with regular lines and of the low costair carriers.
"Union Ivkoni" Ltd. supports a quality management system according to the requierments of the standard ISO 9001:2015 and is registered with UKAS authorization from Intertek Certification Ltd.
The numerous prizes we have received during these years prove the quality of the services we offer and the good name of our company:
- 3 years in a row, granted with the title Bus Company of the Yearin the International Transport area – 2006, 2007 and 2008;
- Bus Company of the Year in the International Transport area in 2010;
- 2 Bus Company of the Year awards in 2011 in the areas of International Transportand Internal Transport;
- Best Trade Mark in the category of Transport for2011;
- Award for New Business Idea for the Wi-Fi service in the busses of the company in 2011;
- 1st and 3rd place for bus driver of the year in 2012.
We have gained the trust of media and cultural institutions by offering and providing support to the organization of public outputs and events. We have worked with the teams of televisionproggrammes – X Factor, Bulgaria Got Talent are amongst them; we have been partners with the Bulgare Ensemble, Ivan Vazov National Theatre, „Encho Keryazov Foundation, the Opera Hall of Sofia, Sports Management Bulgaria Association, etc. The cultural and sports development in Bulgaria are our mission, because thus the spirit of Bulgaria expands itself.
